for a different protocol number for their stuff to talk to each other),
but I don't think that's the whole thing, since I don't get any updates
from the server, and the VNC spec (IIRC) allowed for negotiating a

Hey there. Will git tip from September do? At that time I built QEMU on
Ubuntu 16.04.1, pointed my Mac (10.10) at it again and had the same
experience (had to use a third-party client)
Considering I opened this four years ago, I'm kind of surprised it's
still a talking topic. Was kind of

Regardless of whether its up/down scaling, it's silly to have to switch
off compiz to use it - that, too, needs to be fixed, since you can't
reasonably expect people to switch off compositing when the very
graphics primitives that make compositing possible would also be of use
in scaling
Ah, thanks. Still, I hope someone backports it (or I'll just go and try

I can confirm this for the Toshiba M100 as well. Haven't tried
downgrading the kernel, since I would have to reinstall things like

[Regression] Suspend to ram doesn't work anymore on Toshiba Portege M200
Also happens on a Toshiba M100, except that sometimes even the first
suspend doesn't work.
Resume will sometimes result in a console display with the first line
half-filled with random characters, and two lines of messages apparently
related to PNP re-initalization.
