The Python bindings for the MORSE simulator were mistakenly excluded
from the current package python3-morse-simulator. This is fixed
upstream.
The upstream package also provide the latest
Well, actually *installing* policykit-1-gnome indeed solves the problem.
This package had been replaced by policykit-1-fingerprint-gui while installing
the fingerprint reader support.
The bug should be probably re-assigned to that package.

In oneric, it is possible to disable the ubuntu startup sound in the
Startup applications menu (cf bug #840858). I think most users expect
instead to find this setting in the sound menu of the system settings
panel, and I suggest to add there the option to disable it as well.
Reported again against gnome-control-center as bug #880686, as suggested
by Jeremy Bicha.

I confirm the GNOME login sound entry has been added to startup
applications.
But, as mentionned, this can only be considered as a workaround. I think
users are expecting to find this sound-related setting in the sound
preferences menu.

Banshee reports ~3000 songs in the library.
It may or not be related, but spotify was running (and playing) at the
