Xmonad for me. Xmonad, by default, uses a combination of "Mod+p" (what
"Mod" is is configurable, in my case I've set it to the Super_L) to open

There seems to be another problem with this. I'm not getting any search
results at all with the newest tracker. (0.6.3-0ubuntu2)
tracker-stats indicates that I have many files indexed, while tracker-
search-tool or tracker-search can't find any.

Now that tracker 0.6 is released, any chance of upgrading or backporting

My guess too is that this is a filesystem issue. When my music was on a
NTFS partition, the Watch folders feature didn't work but when I
formatted my music HD to ext3, it works.

Well, it works now. Seems like it wanted take some time to index those
files after all. You can close this bug now.
On another note, maybe o3read should be added as tracker's dependency,

Yes, if I do 'killall gnome-panel' it starts up normally without any
problems.
Double correction: I meant that it happens even if I don't have Tracker
Live Search selected in my deskbar configuration. I didn't actually
uninstall libdeskbar-tracker, but I will try that too now.

Okay, I read some SUSE documentation and found out that it was Alt +
SysRq + T generates a trace. I did this, but am not sure if this is the
whole of it. (can I scroll it somehow?)

Yes it does also occur without beryl. My feisty is upgraded from edgy,

The problem I face is that the required dmesg output doesn't seem to log
anything from the shutdown phase where this crash occurs. Is there any
other way to generate the backtrace.
I noticed that I can use the Alt + Sysrq commands. Could the backtrace
generated with those commands?

and the wireless adapter is in load, it will disconnect completely after
random period of time. Restarting network doesn't help, unplugging and
