Same here, running Ubuntu 14.04 with Numix Circle icon theme running. If
I change back to Ubuntu-mono-dark it's fine.
Here's what I get when I try to launch it:
~$ shutter
defined(@array) is deprecated at /usr/bin/shutter line 3735.
(Maybe you should just omit the defined()?)

I just uninstalled and reinstalled indicator-printers and still no
printer indicator. dpkg -s indicator-printers returns Version:
0.1.7+14.04.20140527-0ubuntu1, so I'm on the supposedly fixed version.

I downloaded the Backtrack 5 R3 ISO and I wanted to burn it to a 4.7GB
DVD-ROM I have, but it wouldn't even recognize the disk. The disk would
just sit there whirring, and nothing would happen other than Startup
disk Creator freezing. I had to kill it from the System Monitor.
