Slow boot on my Dell inspiron 1501 editing the /etc/network/interfaces file worked great. only i added the wlan bit: my /etc/network/interfaces looks like this: --- auto lo iface lo inet loopback auto wlan0 iface wlan0 inet dhcp -- ipw3945: Feisty hanging on Starting Network Interfaces
