Problem:
Trash can on desktop appears empty (by Icon), activating window shows files but
the empty button is greyed out
Trash can as applet shows FULL! (by icon), but activating window
@dimitrios: Bug still shows on my up-to-date system.
No way to hide it? can't i tell Grub to stop showing those messages?

i removed totem and all it's library (except plparser10).
When i look at the properties of a video file i get an error before the window
shows:
Couldn't load the '/usr/share/totem/properties.ui' interface. Failed to
open file '/usr/share/totem/properties.ui': No such file

Had same problem. Azureus Crashed after shutdown caused by battery problem.
Deleting Log files (in ~/.azureus/ ; ~/.azureus/logs ; ~/.azureus/logs/save)
worked.

A couple of weeks ago the slow boot turned back, it looks like it's
searching for the network.
sometimes it takes 30 seconds to boot from power to desktop
sometimes up to 3 minutes
Bug not fixed!

Slow boot on my Dell inspiron 1501
editing the /etc/network/interfaces file worked great. only i added the
wlan bit: my /etc/network/interfaces looks like this:
