Mic doesn't work in jaunty for VIA
I don't know how to reproduce this bug, it affects me quite randomly. I
would say that may be it has something to do with hibernation or
unplug/plug the laptop... i do this almost never because i use most
plugged and don't like much hibernation because that is when most bugs
appears... ;)

when right click in gnome-panel properties... the window opens in the
front as expected... but right clicking in Ubuntu One applet

The problem is that those files in the trash belongs to an external pen
drive. After the usb drive is ejected trash icons displays like full but
it has no elements inside. When plugging the usb device again, the
.Trash folder inside the drive was about 154 MB (1 GB drive)... and when

Another comment is that this bug not only happens in Desktop JPEG
images... it happens when making some copypaste and deletion of images
or pictures is the Pictures folder... in my case I maintain certain
order of pictures in some folders and happens when I download images
from my mobile phone...

This is my experience with this bug. I noticed that pressing F5 to
refresh JPEG picture thumbnails in desktop set the mouse in holding
wheel and every element was updated (like external drives) but image
thumbnails dissapeared. Then i opened a nautilus file manager window and

koala and i can't reproduce this bug. My music collection is the same as
before but the exaile version i suppose is newer than jaunty one.

USB Modem ZTE MF626 still does not work in ubuntu and it is not fixed in
Karmic... In this case, the ubuntu version is Karmic Koala amd64 up to
date... It stills appearing as 2 different modems sometimes. When trying
to connect to Broadband connection the connect animation (the spinning
line) does

times) and inspired this bug report. In karmic the thing it seems not to
work again and as a final comment to my last one is that when the modem
gets stupid, i have to restart my system in order to get connected...

I had the same problem. I think the problem is /etc/init.d/network-manager:

When checking for mails, they move automatically to filter folder
rules... then the number of unread messages next to the folder tree in
bold font is ok, then when reading messages, the number decreases in 1..
but when reading the last of the unread mails, the number still be

I have the same problem. I think it is the same problem as Debian bug #544024
(http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=544024). In the debian bug
report there is a fix that works for me:

My apologies for the delay.
Not yet tried the new kernel Karmic because I have a working 9.04 Jaunty and
solved the problem.
As vesion try the Karmic will communicate the results immediately.
PS: / I must likewise remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag?

During large file handling Trash was filled and when right click for
empty trash system freezed completely, no keyboard response, no system
monitor activity, no notebook fan work increased this mean no CPU 100%
work... I think may be a nautilus bug or app handling files

I downloaded the GE installer and also installed lib32nss-mdns as showed in
this how to ( https://help.ubuntu.com/community/GoogleEarth ) and did this in
terminal to fix the message error but didn't worked at all...
1- Installed GE from the installer
2- sudo apt-get install lib32nss-mdns
3- did
Im running a fully updated Jaunty and I am still experiencing lockups
when deleting large files/directories. Any idea of when will have a fix
release for jaunty?
