Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-image-2.6.27-9-generic The network driver et131x causes ksoftirqd to use ~10 % cpu at all times (even if not connected). After unloading the module cpu usage drops back to normal (i. e. near zero). If I reload the module again, cpu usage stays low.
