Ambient Light
I have problem while I write with keyboard. Sometime part of my hand
goes over the touchpad and the cursor move and sometime click too,
moving the place where i'm writing. Very annoing!
With this new kernel it will be possible disable the touchpad while
writing with keyboard or don't have this
I read in some news, probably this problem will be solved on the future
version of kernel. But now still don't work. I decided to wait the next
kernel.

I install new driver and i read the man, i change xorg.conf and i add
lspci-vvnn and xorg.0.log.
The video card is less hot but the cooling fan work full speed all time,
and the video card is hotter than windows when in lowpower.
How i can watch the frequency of video GPU and video Memory for
I just reinstall Ubuntu on my asus F3jp and delete all video driver but
radeon driver.

Hi I have this problem, I have an asus F3jp with Ati Radeon Mobility x1700.
I install ubuntu 9.04, but I can't install catalyst 9.3 cause xorg1.6 work only
with catalyst 9.4.
Catalyst 9.4 is only for now HD video card and so don't support my video
card.

Imho the main problem isn't the CPU but the GPU, I have an Asus F3jP with an
Ati mobility x1700,
I run a 9.04 ubuntu, and i undestand my pc become hot cause my GPU work always
at full frequency!
With old Ati driver I can set the frequency but now with this open driver I
can't so my videocard
