The fix for 2.6.17-10 prevented my computer from locking up even though I'm at the 2.6.17-11 kernel. However, I lost my sound like others. I disabled my wireless in the BIOS for now. I'm on Ubuntu Edgy. -- CPU soft lockup during bootup https://launchpad.net/bugs/63418 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing
