auto detect the location of the plugins by checking /proc/self/maps and
finding the object from which config_GetLibDir is mapped. So, since
that's coming from libvlccore, the prefix is now wrong (/lib vs

That wold also be my guess. Some things you can try that might help:
disable hardware acceleration in the preference and change the video
output. Maybe there is a combination that works better with your
hardware.
