Ubuntu is getting worse day by day - don't know why this is a low
priority. If you choose a user by default, then choose only the last
logged in user(like windows), otherwise do not choose a default, let the
user choose one(like Mac). Choosing the wrong user is confusing and
driving me crazy. This

I had this problem - but it got resolved in the following fashion.
When it was asking for a keyring password - Click on Details and then
tick Automatically unlock this key ring when I am logged in toggle.
And now it does not ask for a password.

It was not an accidental one, I could reproduce the problem everytime.
As mentioned by upstream, I figured out that it was due to my search
folders and managed to delete them (pressed delete immediately upon
start). After deleting the search folders I could not reproduce the
problem. Evolution was

I have couple of issues -
1. sreadahead is required by metapackages ubuntu-desktop and
ubuntu-netbook-remix, which get removed when I replace sreadahead with
ureadahead. Minor problem - but it would be cleaner if package dependencies are
sorted out.
2. First time when I installed

I have put the following in /etc/rc.local to disable bluetooth on boot
up.
echo 0 /sys/devices/platform/acer-wmi/rfkill/rfkill1/state
Basically we have to find out the rfkill corresponding to the bluetooth
device.

I have a similar problem - my laptop does not connect on reboot. It asks
for the keys. On removing the ndiswrapper module a few times (rmmod
ndiswrapper), it connects fine :-)

Changing the permissions in :
/etc/udev/rules.d/40-permissions.rules
to 0666 for usb and usb_device and restarting the udev solves the
problem, but does it have any side effects?
