Works for me on an Intrepid system.
Looks like the usage of uname since version 3.4-1 fixes this bug:
kernel = /boot/vmlinuz-`uname -r`
initrd = /boot/initrd.img-`uname -r`

Xen-Tools installs with incorrec
If a (system) user 'ntp' exists, but no group 'ntp' exists, the postinst
script fails.
I tracked it down to this section:
if [ "$1" = "configure" ]; then
adduser --system --quiet --group --no-create-home ntp || :
chown -R ntp:ntp /var/lib/ntp /var/log/ntpstats
calling the addus

After looking at Bug #257110, I've found out that there's a 'Replaces:
rubygems'. But that's still not too nice. I'm using Puppet to
automatically setup my hosts. There, I depended on rubygems, which now
need updating to still work...

The rubygems package disappeard when upgrading from hardy to intrepid.
Please re-introduce it as it breaks the update path. Probably a dummy
package just depending on the rubygems1.8 package would suffice.

Got the same on kernel 2.6.19-4-server #2 SMP i686. Here's what I did:

manual partitioning, and deleted both factory setup partitions: a ntfs
partition and one of type compaq diagnostics. I then wanted to create a
