Pavilion Sleekbook 14-b002eo. This computer has UEFI and came with

Xorg fail to start. There is no error message or anything, just a black screen.

Please add the patch in an update now when it's upstream! It applies
without rejects to the xserver in precise. It would be nice to not have
to patch and compile my own xserver just to fix this bug. :)

there is a need to debug it now. Howeer, it would be great if a newer

Eclipse ships with an icon that has the size 256x256. Unity dash tries
to display the icon at that size rather than downsizing it to match the
other icons and this looks really odd. It's displayed properly in the
launcher though.

I can confirm that the problem is fixed in fglrx 12.6 or later. My
computer hasn't crashed even once on suspend/resume since updating.
Though support for my hardwhare was briefly dropped in 12.6 so 12.8 is
the first version that's stable without having the annoying Unsupported
hardware watermark.
IMO the new behavior is better. The old behavior where the panel would
not cast a shadow on maximized windows, even if they loose focus, has
usability problems:
For example, if you maximize a window and then open a unmaximized window
on top of it that window will now be controlled by a menu bar

On my AMD E350/radeon HD 6130 laptop there is a slight but annoying
delay every time I open a menu in the global menu bar. If I cycle

disconnecting the power if I do it this way:
1. Disconnect the power.
2. Put the computer to sleep by closing the lid.
3. Reconnect the power while the computer is sleeping.

This happened to me too when on a fresh installed system with the latest
updates.
Software-center seemed to start installing chrome after I authanticated,
but then it froze. Then after a while if unfroze but without chrome
being installed and software-center didn't seem to be working with
I guess this could be closed. It obviously won't be fixed in natty and
metacity is already deprecated in favour of mutter in future releases.

install of 10.10 (32 or 64 bit) nor with the latest updates and they
actually crashes the system when using them. On 11.04 alpha 1 the system

I have this problem too. My sda1 partition is given the name sdb6 which
is my swap partition. It prevents me from having sda1 automounted since
pysdm believes it's a swap partiton while it's actually NTFS.
@Jaime: I couldn't try your PPA since it's for i386 only. I use amd64.
