There's no way this will make Lucid, though I'm sure the debian
maintainers will make the upgrade to version 2 and it will get synced

Hi,
Unfortunately I've really lost interest in packaging (and looking after)
Monkeystudio in Ubuntu. This is down to a number of reasons: there are
other projects which I would like to dedicate time to, and I don't think
Monkeystudio is something that excites me as much as others. I've also

thus I think I'm in a great position to package it ; )

Alessandro,
This is to do with the way in which source packages in Debian/Ubuntu
are handled. A source package consists of three files: a *.dsc (which
contains a description of the package, a *.orig.tar.gz and a
*.diff.gz. The *.orig.tar.gz contains the original, unmodified source
tarball
Will you be releasing a new source version with the changes for gcc 4.3
on the posterazor website? Also, does posterazor only depend on libxpm-
dev to build, or does it also need libxpm to run?

PasNox,
The latest revision of monkeystudio (2026) seems to build alright (with
`make`) but when I do `/usr/bin/make
MONKEY_PREFIX=/tmp/buildd/monkeystudio-1.8.2+2026/debian/monkeystudio/usr/local/
install` it fails. I have attached a log of the entire build process.
Could you take a look over it
PasNox,
As soon as the toolchain for Intrepid Ibex (hardy+1) is released
(currently set for May 1st) I can upload the package. Monkeystudio
should build fine now, right?

PasNox,
Unfortunately, it seems that the package fails to build with libqt4-dev
under hardy. I have attatched a log of the package builder. What do you
make of it?

PasNox,
I just tried to compile the monkeystudio-src-2006.1.5.3.zip from
sourceforge.net but I get an error in the source code when i run 'make'.
I have attached the output from the commands. Any ideas?

PasNox,
You probably want to write the description for the package. It needs to
have both a short description (up to 60 characters) and a long
description.
Also, could you give me a list of dependencies for monkeystudio so I
don't miss any? (I'm using 1.5.3)
Thanks
