There was a bug in the generation of dependencies of gmetadom [1], which has been fixed in 0.2.6-5. Sync has been requested [2], but not yet performed. The bug made gmetadom not appear in the monitoring page. lablgtkmathview needs to be rebuilt after gmetadom. [1]
