[Bug 1916357] [NEW] change upstream and packge latest release

2021-02-20 Thread Steve Arnold
Public bug reported: The code has had a new home on github for a while now (https://github.com/sarnold/) with the approval and some feedback from the original author (Tim Littlefair). The current release is 3.1.6 and it would be really nice to get it updated for at least bionic->newer. Now

Sorry, if I follow these instructions: "UnreportableReason: This is not an official Ubuntu package. Please remove any third party package and try again." then it is impossible to login and do any of this stuff using the desktop. Is there some info I can collect manually via a console login? --

2020-08-20 Thread Steve Arnold
Seriously, this is almost a year old. What is the resolution? Where are the upgraded pkgs? Leaving it to some unknown number of users to devise their own out-of-band solution seems like a really bad idea when all we really need is a current stunnel package built against the current openssl lib.

2017-01-01 Thread Steve Arnold
My problem sounds like comment #20 exactly: with no SIM card (yet) and a fresh mako image of stable/ubuntu-developer I have no DNS at all after connecting to WIFI. Manual fudging of resolv.conf makes things work again. I'll install the log viewer next... -- You received this bug notification
