Upgrading from Kubuntu 14.04 to 14.10. I ran sudo do-release-upgrade -m
desktop -f DistUpgradeViewKDE and then got an error saying could not
calculate the upgrade

This happens on two of my laptops both running 14.04LTS. One laptop is a
Dell studio 1737 with 4bg ram in bios mode and the other is a Samsung
540U4E with 16gb ram and in UEFI mode. Both get the same error.

It says upgraded to trusty on the 25-10-2014 but i have been using it
a lot longer then that.

Laptop charger keeps disconnecting then
Public bug reported:
Since upgrading my Samsung 540U4E-K01AU to Kubuntu 14.04 the battery
charger keeps connecting and disconnecting as i change from application
to application or another tab. It doesn't drop out if im not interacting
with the laptop. I have tested the charger with a multi meter
