update. Tried again. This time it suggested that I run apt-get install -f.
If it had done that before, I missed it. Sorry. Here is the entire output.

I did some work for a guy, building a DB up on the cloud. The work was
successful and after he didn't need the service any more, he asked me if he
could get a copy of the data. I looked and about all I could do was create a
5.6 server locally and then push the data to it
