After examining some of the printouts that were performed on my wife's
Windows machine, I noticed that text was not true black. Apparently,
something in Windows tells the printer to print black text with the
color cartridge when the black ink runs out. Linux doesn't do this,
hence the odd

will show the ink level when the door is open. It says the color ink is
lower than the black.
Cycling the power did not help.

Wow. I posted this bug a long time ago. I think I fixed it by
installing libflashsupport with the 64-bit version of Flash. It may
have also been resolved by installing libasound2-plugins. I can't
remember, but I no longer have this issue.

Not only does it pop up with this message but I also note that it takes
substantially longer for Mplayer to load when the screensaver is
disabled. Somewhere in the range of 30-60 seconds.

I have seen this with X11 video but not under openGL. It's
disappointing because X video is much smoother than open GL on my
machine.

Do you have the screensaver disabled in the settings? There is a bug
when stop x screensaver is enabled in the settings that may cause

Same problem here. Fullscreen doesn't work in X11 output mode and video
flickers in OpenGL output mode. It looks like if anything is moving
(i.e. you receive and IM, a webpage refreshes, or even the bar moving
across the gmplayer box) it makes the video flicker in that location. I
have found
from what my further searching has uncovered fullscreen requires
hardware overlay which is only available with the Xv output mode. You
may have to change your xorg.conf file to get it to work (unpleasant).
Or maybe X just doesn't like your video card.

Please forgive me I'm not a programmer but this is what happened.
I am running a Dell Dimension E520 with the Intel Core 2 duo 4300. Standard
video card (NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE Graphics GPU), 1Gb of ram, E207FP Widescreen
Flat Panel Display. I
correction: It may alter GRUB but what fixes the booting is reseting
the BIOS. I don't know what kind of BIOS I have. I will try to post it
later.
