Public bug reported:
This happened with the GUI update manager.
I manually ran "sudo apt install -f" from the terminal afterwards, and
that *did* work.
ProblemType: Package
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 16.10
Package: linux-headers-4.8.0-45 4.8.0-45.48
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.8.0-45.48-generic
I just went through my collection of blu-rays that didn't work.
I can confirm the bug no longer occurs on Vivid with NVidia graphics,
but I'm afraid I can no longer test with Intel HD4000 (as in the
original bug report).

Deleting the CMakeLists.txt.user file and reopening the project works,
but you'll have to repeat this every single time you open the project :(

Public bug reported:
Not all, but a lot of the H264 videos that I have tried fail to play correctly
in Totem (and its webplugin).
The top half (or less) of the video usually looks fine, everything below is
just stretched. See the attached screenshot for what it looks like, I'm not
sure what to
The comic reader Comix (installed from software centre) fails to start
(silently!) because of this.
