I haven't seen it do this for quite some time now.
I don't know what versions Lucid or Maverick refer to - it's more clear

This is the DVD burner software that comes with it, but it is nothing more
than a vulgar file manager.
Nowhere is there a menu item or button to either create a project or burn a
dvd.

I have a very large contact list in one of my MSN login IDs (about 700
contacts).
I can log in with multiple IDs no problem, but as soon as I log in with this
one, Pidgin closes.
Pidgin does not do this in the windows version (XP or Vista).
