You don't have to reboot.
I checked that when I open document in LibreOffice buttons disappear, but when
You close the document (not the LibreOffice, just the document) and You open it
again (or any other document) the buttons will be back again. After this, every
time when You open or close

When the window of libreoffice is maximize, icons on the top panel
disappears and there is dead space (can't click there). I have to
close all of my libreoffice windows and run the program again to be able
to see buttons, and use it.
