It seems to happen at exactly every other reboot. The workaround script from above does not work for me because rc.local is run too late in the boot process. The computer hangs and waits for the nfs mounts because it is execued. If anyone is willing to investigate this, I'm ready to make tests

Well, the workaround in /etc/systemd/logind.conf did indeed prevent the system from going into hibernate when I close the lid. This is some improvement, but it still does not lock the screen. When I open the lid, the system is unlocked, although I said otherwise in Lubuntu's power management
