In a standard Ubuntu 18.04.01 installation
the pacpl version 5.0.1 installed through apt
fails to read the input files, because it calls ffmpeg with just the -y option
and not the actual needed -y -i options
manual installation of Version 6.1.0 from sourceforge works as expe
Switching to kernel 4.15 resolves also the problem for me.
But unfortunately i have some applications that need kernel version 4.9

On saving the password database after adding a new login,
tcl/tk tries to access /sbin/ifconfig and fails as this binary is not available.
