Chris, as said the change we did in yaru is just applying to gnome-shell
code, reflecting gnome-shell upstream code changes so putting it in

Related to the desktop team specific needs, I wanted to mention that at
the current state we don't expect to need or support pam-pkcs11 given
that we want to rely only on pam-sss (that should be at this time more
than enough for any need), other than being already in main.
So, while in debian
Christian, please submit another bug for the specific issue, so here we
can just track the update to 3.36.9 (and I've reproduced it once running
on pure mutter).
However, for some reason I can't either run your test case in latest
mutter.

The script (https://github.com/3v1n0/nss-database-pem-exporter) can be
definitely adjusted to handle that, that meant to be simple as this
requirement wasn't considered.

Not sure if the gsettings schema change should be part of gdm though, as
if this will ever be upstreamed that's where it will belong.
Indeed, it will makes the FFe a bit more complex and cause more changes
though, but we'd get there anyways when (if) we'll have to migrate to
gnome keys.
