[Bug 995864] Re: Network indicator's menu doesn't work properly !

2012-05-09 Thread Victor Jimenez
I have the same problem in my desktop. I only have an Ethernet card. The card itself works fine, but the entries in the network-manager's menu, containing my VPNs do not appear. Everything was working fine before the upgrade to 12.04. If I kill nm-applet, and re-run again, the VPN menus appear.

2011-01-19 Thread Victor Jimenez
After upgrading to Ubuntu 10.10, I still have this problem. Are there any news related to it? I was also wondering why this bug has low priority. I understand it's not a kernel panic, but if Ubuntu wants to be an easy-accessible OS, bugs like this one should not happen. They make Ubuntu look very

2010-07-29 Thread Victor Jimenez
@ThomasNovin I also lose all the printers when I try the workaround given in comment #29. I do not have any experience with IPv6, but I checked the output from sysctl -A and looked into /etc/hosts. It seems as if IPv6 is not disabled in my system, as there are these 3 lines:
