The server is mt-daap (0.9~r1696.dfsg-15build1) running on lucid i386 also.
iTunes on a mac sees it just fine and plays songs fine.
I am able to play files from the server with VLC and the http: access

I just installed Bindwood on two machines running Ubuntu 10.04 amd64.
On one machine the bookmarks appear to be exported to the CouchDB
bookmarks.couch, but on the other they don't.
I don't see any bindwood.log file. Does the log get generated in 1.0.4
or not?

Well, as I suspected all along, I think the root of the bug is in the
Atheros AR8131 network chip or its driver.
The server was working fine when the network card was an old 3Com 3C905C
but after moving the system to a Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L mobo with
integrated Atheros AR8131, the problem
No further problems here, so it seems it is fixed for me. Thanks!

After watching waiting a bit, I've seen no more errors of the type I
described in #16. I've rebooted and done a replugging test or two and
it's all been solid.
Coincidentally one of my 1-wire sensors died but I got quite different
error messages from that and it seems clear that the ftdi_sio

I have found that by running synergyc only as a startup application
(System-Preferences-Startup applications) without any changes to
/etc/gdm/Init/Default or /etc/gdm/PreSession/Default mostly eliminates
the problem for me. If synergyc is started in either of these

Before the upgrade I could save to the document folder on the computer now all
it wants to do is put the mail inti Mbox then it tells me that it is not
available .

I am seeing exactly the same issue, on i386. I have the same version of
digitemp, 3.5.0ds1-1.
I found a kernel commit which I think causes this, see LP#655868.
It's unclear if the kernel was wrong before and got fixed (so digitemp needs to
be changed too)
or if the kernel change was wrong
I've bisected this, down to this commit. What now?

In avant-window-navigator/awn-settings/awnClass.py, in the 'safe_load_icon'
method, the icon 'gtk-missing-image' is used as a last resort fallback if any
icon is missing.
Problem is this is not a very good fallback: as soon as you use a
I'm having exactly the same problem. It's also only an issue on a
machine which has an SSD in it.
Killing gnome-settings-daemon and then running it in a terminal restores
most of my visual settings, but not all of them.

early on 2010-10-16. I will only report further changes in state if they
are unusual.
