While trying the trick I noticed that I cannot create any calendar
items?!? Actually, the first one I tried to create did not worked out
and while trying to save/ignore/cancel evolution finally crashed... At

I'm able to successfully login and sync with Exchange 2003. However,
recurring events to not appear in my calendar. Non-recurring events show
fine.
Interestingly, I've found a similar bug
Removing my kerberos keys (/etc/krb5.keytab file) allowed me to send
email under Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
At my office MS and Linux are on two separate networks but it seems that
evolution somehow tries to authenticate using kerberos for sending email
if kerberos is setup on the system. What's wierd is
Having the exact same issue using 12.04 LTS.
Curiously enough it worked as expected for a little while (putting off
the lvds and proper resolution on vga) but, perhaps due to an update, it
now by default clone the lvds and force both screens to be 1024x768
(wich is probably the only compatible
Here is the adapter code snipet for 12.04 to add to

LVDS=`xrandr -q | grep LVDS[0-9] connected | cut -f1 -d `

So far so good after 3 days running oneiric 3.0 kernel on lucid. I
presume a fix did went in between 2.6.38 and 3.0.0.
Hoping this will last.
I looked in the git web repository to find the most appropriate patch... My 2
cents point to one of theses:
After 12-18 hours got the same Call trace. This time I was not using
the option quota=on so it is not specific to that.
Now migrated to oneiric backport kernel (available through ppa:kernel-ppa
instead of regular backport channels):
# uname -r
3.0.0-12-generic-pae
Wait see.

libthunar-vfs-1-2 is still linked to gamin libs and thus it's impossible
to install xfce using fam instead of gamin. See last comment for more
informations on this.

xfce dependancy problem with fam vs gamin
To manage notifications about this bug go to:
Will this fix be backported for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS ?
Because this morning I still see:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
libthunar-vfs-1-2: Depends: libgamin0 but it is not going to be installed
I gave a try this morning into fixing the problem (with success) by changing
theses:
While looking a bit further: xfce4 - (depends) - thunar -
(recommend) - gamin (only)
Package: thunar
Section: xfce
Architecture: any
Depends: ${shlibs:Depends}, ${misc:Depends}, desktop-file-utils,
shared-mime-info, thunar-data (= ${source:Version}), exo-utils
Recommends: hal, dbus-x11,
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xfce4
xfce depends on gamin... previously fam would provide gamin... now
it's libfam that states it provides libgamin although xfce still depends
on gamin.
Gamin does not work well with NFS (it does'nt always notify changes on
file and directory on nfs
