Just updated my Kubuntu 16.04.1 from kubuntu-ppa/backports and found
that krunner doesn't work.
When I run it from console I get the following error:

I can confirm that bug is fixed for chromium and emacs. Also I tested drag and
drop in general with other applications and didn't find any issue.
