That part is already fixed, but I have encountered another one, it can
detect wireless network but it wont authenticate, password is good but
it's not connecting, it keeps on asking for the password

followed your howto and it works but when you reboot your machine,
wireless is not loaded automatically

same problem with Dell Inspiron 1464
I guess every laptop that has broadcom wireless will experience this
