Eduroam also just stopped working for me. I heard local admins
reconfigured wifi network, and now when I connect, I get self-signed
certificate errors.
To solve this, I had to replace the old local certificate (LITNET_CA.crt
for me) to the AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt.
And I'm not even on Ubuntu.

Note #2: Actually it does persist even in awn, but it somehow manages to
crop it. To reproduce: resize the dock while tray icon is present
(window color border should appear around it). Tested with truecrypt
which tray icon has the very same problem.

Well, since 9.10 my boot experience was getting poorer and poorer :) Yes, it

Something that's built into my Dell Inspiron 1520. How can I look that
up?

expecting to find cdrom on /dev/hda for some reason (no clue when that
entry appeared there). When I changed that to /dev/cdrom, it still did

I reproduce the same problem with exactly the same flash key (both model
and capacity, if that matters). On Jaunty, with the following kernel
(and couple older kernels as well):
