This is really weird bug and I am not sure if I myself double-click
somehow, but pretty often then all I want to do is single-click I get
double-clicks. For example opening a link in a browser in a new tab
twice instead of once or two-finger scrolling triggering two-finger

Still much more inferior to Eye of GNOME. For example with different
test image I get very unpleasant jagged edges @ 75% zoom and blurriness
@ 50% zoom. If it helps then ristretto 0.6.3 image viewer has similar
problems.

I have set touchpad acceleration to 2.0 and sensitivity to 8 px. However
sometimes they change to 0.1 acceleration and 1 px sensitivity which are
same as my mouse settings. I am not sure about the cause, maybe
disconnecting usb mouse triggers this somehow.

I have exactly the same xorg.conf
I did clean install of Xubuntu 12.10 64bit, driver I chose was fglrx-
installer-updates.
I recommend that you open a new bug report and include there Xorg.0.log
and Xorg.0.log.old (in /var/log) from the time then you attempt to use
high performance

Also then you switch to high performance gpu, you have to restart and
not log out.

I have found a workaround, NatsuPower does the following work for you
too?
sudo aticonfig --initial
sudo -i
aticonfig --px-dgpu
and restart
aticonfig --px-list-active-gpu
PowerXpress: Discrete GPU is active (High-Performance mode).

catalyst control center. I only got weaker, HD6320 gpu listed in there.
