Gnomel panel version: 2.30.2. I have just upgraded to 10.04.1 from 8.04. Now I have similar issue too. The clock sometimes does not show up when I login after reboot. killall does not restart the clock but re-login helps. The syslog message attached by Shane can be found too. -- clock 2.30.0

I can verify that 7.10 Kubuntu-Alt Halts (at 83% in my case) as described above. In my case for about 15 minutes. PIII 128Mb RAM so it might be due to low resources. Kubuntu regular wouldn't install at all. -- OEM install Ubuntu hangs @ 91% (setting up Linux-generic)

It happens every time when wireshark is running in my feisty without compiz. I tried to repeat the bug in terminal with a nontransparent image. The bug still happens, but the second tab becomes solid instead of the the third. My feisty is upgraded from dapper, does it make a difference? This bug
