There are many issue in the AMD gitlab referencing flip_done timed out

I think I've chased a few red herrings. here. Even on 6.5.0-25 this
issue persists. The only way to prevent it is to either downgrade to the
6.2 kernel (which isn't an option considering all the security updates
which it will no longer receive) OR installing the driver package from
AMD.com.

Any KDE/QT app running via Wayland (does not apply to XWayland because
those inherit the GTK border) has no contrasting outline or background
shadow, causing the window to be difficult to distinguish against
certain other windows or backgrounds.
ProblemType: Bug
This example is above the GTK text editor for comparison

Got my hopes up for that easy fix, but I discovered that I don't have
gstreamer1.0-vaapi installed and I am still having this problem. I have
only had it in wayland. X seems to work fine for me.

I use 2 Ubuntu 20.04 machines daily for work, and because of the
significant uptime I have seen these memory leaks occur. I would greatly
appreciate this update and can test once the SRU is available.

So, this only happens for me when I add a PPA that does not have a
Release file. (In this instance, dolphin-emu.org's PPA). I tried on
another PPA that also does not have a release file and can replicate the
error as well.
Disabling that PPA resolves the issue for now.

This is happening for me in 16.04 as well. I am surprised by the age of
this issue as it is such a basic piece of functionality for any OS. The
only way I can tell if the transfers are done is to keep checking target
file info or ejecting the drive and waiting for the "safe to remove"
OK, this is odd. Menus are lost for the affected apps after restarting
them... That's usual for this bug, but I have VMware Horizon running and
it has it's menu running within it's own window ( as with non-Unity

*sigh* Just happened. Came back after lunch and Rhythmbox, Pidgin and
Filezilla all lost their menus. Rhythmbox has been running since my last
post and was working fine earlier.
Curiously enough, both Firefox and Thunderbird are still working fine

A sizable amount of updates dropped this morning... And so far, so good.
I've not seen the problem surface today after running just about every
program I have installed ( including LibreOffice ) . I will report if it

I have been experiencing this bug as well. Firefox has been affected
RARELY, and interestingly enough, if it is- running the unity command
will close the affected instance of Firefox. If Firefox is NOT affected
by the bug and the menu works, then it remains up upon refreshing Unity.
