Hi,
I can't install softwares that are on the repository on the Ubuntu menu down.
In french it's named logithèque ubuntu you open it and it shows synaptic in a
more graphical view. when I clic on install : nothing occurs.

orgoj, thanks for rewriting of the preferences, i had not understand the first

hugin 7 rox too but now it's autopano which gives me error 255 :

Not for me.
I do my project, i save it. it's when i launch a new one or when i try to add
new pics after erasing the old ones.
before alpha 7 hugin worked great. it's since the had a wizard.

I convert this to a question because I fixed the problem. It was just a
dust ball that was blocking the fan. I open the computer, clean
everything : everything runs good now.

The fan sometimes runs out of control on left but slow on right. When I launch
tux racer using NVidia GeForce 6800 GTS (driver from NVidia) after a while the
laptop shutdowns. When booting again, the prompt after Dell logo says :

everytime i'm try to launch :
- a new panorama project,
- i upload new pictures in the wizard,
- a new project after closing the one in use,
hugin simply crashes and i just can restart it to continue working.
** Affects: hugin (Ubuntu)
well, i found how to use mono PC and wooofer all together by clicking them with
Ctrl.
i went on 7.10 and after a while (means i don't know what bad or risky i could
have done) sound is off even if it has worked well first time.
maybe after gxine install.

after feisty install, my ich6 sound card doesn't respond as on edgy (it
was perfect for me on it). the woofer is controlled by pcm and the
treble is under the general volume control. when i use the multimedia
keys in front i can only manage the treble. or the woofer but not
i found that if i use mono output select on alsa-mixer, i have only
treble and no woofer. the hot keys of the laptop works well but there is
no woofer activated.
