1. Install xserver-xorg-video-intel package and rebooting.
This showed output on the second monitor in lower resolution.
2. Adding higher resolution via xrandr:
sudo xrandr --addmode DP1 1920x1080

I am seeing a similar problem with NUC5I7RYH. Both monitors look find at
boot-up but one goes blank one you get to the login prompt for X
Windows. No flickering. Also on 15.10.

Yeah, just booted up Lucid from LiveCD - same result, dongle detects only as
removable data storage.
Though, Airplus MCD-650 CDMA dongle finally was detected by NetworkManager as
3G-device, but that's not applicable to the topic.

after removing ~/.kde folder for some time everything was ok, but suddenly,
without any clear reason, panel and desktop configuration becomes totally
messed. So, it is clear error in reading some configuration files.
