I've experienced the same problem upon in place online upgrade from
10.04 to 10.10 beta 3. if I expand locations and then close the
calendar, the calendar gets pushed up even higher. Conversely, if I
collapse locations and then close the calendar the calendar is lowered.

This bug is still present in Feisty. This bug is almost 2 years old! I
know that if its an alsa bug there is only so much we can do. But even
if you have to pay them this bug needs to be fixed. It is somewhat of a
show-stopper. If someone gets a phone call or enters an official are
with their

I had a similar bug. When the bug occurred I had a ServerName listed in
my /etc/cups/client.conf that was nonexistent/inaccessible . I commented
out the SeverName line in the client.conf file and this bug disappeared.

When Print-server not found on network, cups-manager crashes
As of 1 am EST on April 8, this bug has still not been fixed. It is very
annoying and it kicks gnome-power-manager out of the panel every time it
crashes the panel.

ok a little update, it doesnt crash every time , only when certain
packages are updated a certain way, I have yet to find out which ones
and how. I prepared my system for debugging however in order to use
valgrind I have to run an instance of the program using valgrind.
