did. Currently, only kernel "3.13.0-36-generic" running module
This is a mysterious bug affecting a LOT of machines. As I suggested at

I wanted to clarify that my main problem is that FF doesn't start,

GLib-CRITICAL **: g_slice_set_config: assertion
I have the same problem, FreeBSD-10.1 amd64, fresh system install from
scratch in VM, firefox-36.0.1, dwm window manager, G_SLICE workaround
doesn't help, --safe-mode also doesn't help. FF prints the warning and
freezes. No FF window opens.
It fails on xorg in VM, but same FF succeeds on Xnest in

Sorry to ressurect an old thread, but I did all of this but the problem
still persisted.
I have some 25+ clients connected to NFS server.
When i dug into the clients, it was 2 of them with connection failures
(one on the eth card, another the cable was damaged)...
