Thanks, jvandenbroek – Method 2 fixed it. Although naming a resume device leads
to the same behaviour: when running `update-initramfs` it complains about
"target cryptswap1 has a random key, skipped

change the document and try to save the changed pdf the error occures.

When renaming a file on the desktop text will change to black. With a
violet background the text is not readable anymore once the marking
(orange background) of the text is gone.

This behaviour occures when booted via try ubuntu. When booted via
install ubuntu ubiquity is available also after aborting the process

When first choosing A4-Borderless I can still select fast-draft and
duplex. When printed, the options vanish until I rechange to A4 and
print. Printing is always okay and working. Printing PDFs in firefox
works always with that configuration (fast-draft, A4-borderless,
duplex). Okular can do it as
Something is going strange here. I remove ~/.config/evince. Everything
goes right. After a while, the duplex option vanishes, I only can print
one-sided. Also the quality option Fast Draft is vanished. I remove
~/.config/evince again. Things are working again. And so forth.

As I just figured out this behaviour appears after switching from A4
to A4 Borderless. After printing the options vanished when the
printing dialogue is called next time. Switching back to A4 and
printing something, next time calling the printing dialogue the options
are available again.

Okay, there you go.
It is strange, those options are disabled for I /can/ print duplex with
A4 Borderless. And I can print fast draft. (When the option is provided
of course)
( A4 does not give proper results for me: top and bottom are cut.)
