Same problem as dschneller: The kernel update fixed the fixed the boot problem,
but now the nvidia module fails to load.

I can confirm the problem. After the upgrade to 1.0.4+svn26, my crypt partition
stopped working.
When doing a ls /dev/mapper, the crypt device was not listed any more.
Finally, I downgraded to 1.0.3, which resolved the issue.
