On my hp laptop when I press mute button it mutes, pressing it again shows a
popup (notification) that the volume is unmuted, while the mixer applet on the
panel is still muted.
Have to click it-Unmute to get the sound back.

I am trying to install vlc 1.1.11 and transmission 2.32 from source.
sudo checkinstall fails to install both of them. In case of transmission:
installing zh_CN.gmo as
/usr/local/share/locale/zh_CN/LC_MESSAGES/transmission-gtk.mo
installing zh_TW.gmo as
THe errors are probably unrelated, just noticed that it tries to copy .libs/
while it should ./libs in case of vlc.
Not sure the cause of transmission one though.
In both cases the make install works just fine!

Hi, on my HP Compaq nc6120, Ubuntu 10.10 have i same problem with Guake! 0.4.2.
First Guake tab after start have transparency. If i Add new tab, new tab is
black, without transparency.
On my Asus EEE 901, Ubuntu 10.10 have i no problems (all tabs on Guakee!
0.4.2 have transparency).

Also affects an updated Maverick.
I typed something in FF 3.6.13 and suddenly got logged out.
Afterwards I reviewed .xession-errors.old and found the ominous lines there.
Before I've visited lots of pages using flash.
I'm using native 64bit 'square' since nspluginwrapper is still no useful choice
