In 25% of the cases gnome-panel hangs on startup while loading the
systray + indicator applet. I have this issue both on my desktop as
laptop.
Killing the gnome-panel makes it usable again.

The bad: I was unable to login via ssh or switch to a tty when the
machine freezed.
The good!: I played nexuiz two times without problems, so I assume it is
solved. Probably because of:
* last updates (I update almost daily)
* I changed some bios settings. (I an attempt to use my onboard
sorry for all the messages. Two thing:
*Turning mtrr off in xorg.conf delays the freeze a lot.
*Backtrace did not work since the machine didn't respond after the freeze.

Hi,
I have no remote machine to login to my own. I will try if possible.
I tried without compiz, the machine did not crash but 3d apps are not
running smooth. (I don't know exactly how to say it in english but the
screen stops often for a sec or less)

Same here with the latest update from 2.6.22-11 to 2.6.22-12 and fglrx
8.41.7. It seems x.org fails to start and freezes, because i'm not able

On qemu (running windows XP) and starting Nexuiz the mouse cursor
disappears as soon as you move it. The cursor seem to be not functioning
at all after it disappeared.
Leaving the mouse grap of qemu or quiting nexuiz will give the mouse
cursor and its functionality back.
Same problem here. Both on knot 2 and knot 3.
