I have the same problem.
I tried on 3 different machines and the bug exist on all of them.
And it happens quite often, so it's really annoying.

I have the same problem on Quantal. I've noticed that the pointer is jerky when
my machine tries to connect to the network.
After that the mouse behalves normal again.
