lucky I have my main IDE HDD connect though a Promise tx2plus, so I have successed boot into system after an dist-upgrade from Dapper to daily Oct-04.
In Edgy my extra HDDs ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) disappeared, and my recorders ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) recognized by kernel. in Dapper the HDDs working fine but recorders was not working. I think workaroud was switch SATA Disks from ICH8 to addonial Jmicron SATA node.
