I've noticed when crafty starts to tantrum, if I am quick (within a
second) i can CTRL+C and it will take roughly 5-10 seconds before the
crafty processes die. I've tried running it with nice, as it seems to be
utilizing all the CPU strength, but to no avail.

On my HP Nc6400, I noticed that on resume from suspend 5mins, the X server
would freeze, and only a 'kill -9 X' via ssh could restore things. Shorter
suspends didn't give any problem.
Looking further into it, It turns out that this problem only occurs when
an OpenGL app
I can confirm the active desktop borders bug. On at least three
separate installations (dapper and edgy), selecting always enabled
will work, and had the desired behaviour.
But...when going back into the settings at a later time, the only when
moving windows option is selected (but not applied).

In Kubuntu Dapper, there is a problem in the configuration of multiple
desktops. It's a UI confusion issue rather than a real but, but
something that needs to be addressed anyway.
Basically, there are two places to change the multiple desktop
configurations when they should
