I have just attached a kernel patch, I'd appreciate if somebody could
try it out.
This patch was prepared against 3.2-rc kernel, and parts of it (the
changes in the iwl-mac80211.c file) will not directly apply to older
kernels as we moved some code around. Those parts should apply to iwl-
agn.c

I gave up the installation and went with a clean install of 11.10, which is
operating quite well.
My guess is that some educational suite (edubuntu?) I had installed was not
fully compatible.
Oh well, we may never know.

Scrolling is not working at all. Also, this Patch removed my Alps-Device from
the xinput-list.
All Touchpad actions come from the PS2-Mouse Thing
Input driver version is 1.0.1

How can i get the device back in the output of `xinput list`?
uninstalling of this package from #56 didn't work

holy shit, to find this bug i google'd for about an hour with a non
working system. this bug doesnt seem to be prioritied low.
this happend to me after uninstall fglrx from jockey. initial error
message was error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1 - and
then i tried to reinstall the mesa
ps. the workaround in #10 worked for me.
