I would like to add that I solved my problem by doing sudo apt-get
purge unity and then sudo apt-get unity I'm not sure if it's
neccessary to purge but I wanted to be sure, the problem was geting a
bit frustrating.

here come the files, had to install gvfs-bin and while that was
running I got this error msg:
