Nick's PPA did sovled my low-graphic problem on a HP laptop (I7/6770M) for ubuntu 12.10/amd64 However there are 2 steps must to be taken, or-else still low-graphic( segmentation fault shown in Xorg.0.log): 1. run sudo dpkg-reconfigure Xorg before reboot 2. when linux kernel is 3.7 or higher,
