Just correcting myself: 9. to allow module loading, I commented two blacklist lines in this file: $ sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-framebuffer # blacklist nvidiafb # blacklist vesafb * if anyone had the time to try without vesafb, that would be great Cheers -- tty[1-6] are active but
