The size problem seems to be in both directions (height and width). I
have a vertical panel on the right of my screen with a height set to
dynamic and a width set to 50px. Neither the height nor the width are
correct.
I am running Lubuntu 15.10 with lxpanel version 0.8.1-1ubuntu2

For those who don't have aptitude or ppa-purge, the problem can be solved (in a
dirty way) by downloading the .deb package and installing it through the
command: dpkg --force-overwrite -i package_name.
Removing gnome PPA had no effects for me, because they were already
automatically disabled

Apparently this error is triggered by the launch of clementine media
player.
To get this bug the only steps I am following are:
1) Log into gnome
2) Launch clementine
3) Play music
The 3rd step is where the complete gnome-shell crashes.

I am not certain this bug only appears with the software-center package, but
this is the only application that totally crash because of it.
The problem appeared when I upgraded from ubuntu 12.10 to 13.04. I am only
trying to open the software-center through the command line
